GWME-7.2.0-3 Importing RRDs

Problem

This technical bulletin applies to GroundWork Monitor 7.2.0. On GroundWork systems failure occurs when importing RRD data that occurs before the cutoff date. This fix now displays a correct error message and always rejects RRD input when it matches current influxDB data.

Solution

To address the problem above, we are providing an updated grafbridge-control script file.

Installation steps

1. Download the TB7.2.0-3.tar.gz tarball below and place in an accessible location on your GroundWork Server.
   Name	Size	Creator	Creation Date	Comment
   TB7.2.0-3.tar.gz	37 kB	Bren Eckles	Jun 01, 2018 19:51
2. Unzip the tarball:

   tar zxvf TB7.2.0-3.tar.gz
   

   This will create the sub-directory TB7.2.0-3.

3. Change to the TB7.2.0-3 directory:

   cd TB7.2.0-3
   

4. As root user run install:

   ./TB7.2.0-3_install.sh
   

Uninstall rollback steps

1. As root user, in the Technical Bulletin directory (e.g., TB7.2.0-3) run uninstall:

   ./TB7.2.0-3_uninstall.sh
