How to configure GroundWork Grafana

WAS THIS PAGE HELPFUL? Leave Feedback

Overview

The following files are used in the configuration of GroundWork Grafana:

  • /usr/local/groundwork/grafana/conf/defaults.ini
  • /usr/local/groundwork/config/status-viewer.properties
    • properties that begin with perf.monitoring

While creating performance graphs with Grafana is largely automatic in GroundWork Monitor, you will still need to have an entry for your metrics in the Performance option (Configuration > Performance) for graphs to be displayed in the Status and Performance viewer applications. See How to add new services and performance data.

Steps

It's recommended to not edit these directly, but instead use grafbridge-control. This utility is located in /usr/local/groundwork/grafana/scripts. You can enter ./grafbridge-control --help to view the built-in manual page.
