How to create a views map

Overview

This page reviews the basics of creating GroundWork Monitor Views (NagVis) feature.

Steps

1. As an Administrator, select Views.
2. Within the Options drop-down select Manage Maps.

3. Enter a map name, select an icon set, and optionally select a background, click Create.

4. Next, we'll add some map icons. Hover over Edit Map, Add Icon, and click on Host, select a host and the URL for that host.

5. Click Save. You can then view the functionality of the first icon and continue creating the view.

6. Selecting Views from the main GroundWork Monitor menu shows the new view with hover over bubble up status and a summary of the view elements.
