How to share a Grafana dashboard on a portal page

Overview

A Grafana dashboard can be put into a GroundWork portal page.

Steps

1. Create or open an existing Grafana dashboard.
2. Obtain a link to the dashboard by clicking the share icon at the top of the screen, and selecting Link to Dashboard.
3. Copy the displayed link.
4. Create a GroundWork portal page with an IFrame application portlet, see How to add a portal page. You would then use the copied Share link as the portlet's URL.
5. The portal page and IFrame portlet security permissions can be adjusted as necessary to control which GroundWork portal users are able to access the dashboard portal page. See How to manage page, container, portlet permissions.
