Notifications and Downtime

This section reviews two different methods that can be used to receive alert notifications using GroundWork Monitor. We review the Notification Manager (NoMa) application which is integrated in GroundWork Monitor and provides a notifications facility for Nagios and other monitoring methods. We also review the configuration of notifications using Nagios and the GroundWork configuration tool, Monarch. Additionally, you can find reference regarding scheduling of host and service downtime.
