Release 6.3 adds visualization and Cacti

Release 6.3 incorporates two popular open source add-ons, Cacti and NagVis, so users can diagnose performance bottlenecks before they disrupt business operations. Release 6.3 lets customers create custom views of their business processes and infrastructure that reflect the current health and performance of their entire environment. By visualizing key business operations in this way, IT staff can efficiently keep customers and executives up-to-date on day-to-day operations.

Release 6.3’s support of the iPad for monitoring drew the attention of RedMonk analyst Michael Cote: “Of note for trend-watchers is [GroundWork’s] attention to the iPad as a device: They’ve spent time tweaking the UI to work in that form factor, e.g., where mouse-overs don’t exist for little pop-up windows.”

GroundWork Monitor And OTRS Integration Webcast
