GroundWork adds former HP SVP to advisory board
Filed under: Open SourceToday GroundWork announced that Nora Denzel (of former HP fame) and Ali Jenab (current President and CEO of VA Software) have joined the company’s advisory board.

Denzel had a high profile at HP, where she ran the company’s Adaptive Enterprise initiatives. It’s likely that GroundWork could one day be a potential acquisition for one of the Big 4 players, who certainly have their own budding OSS interests that are starting to creep into their management product lines. With the appointment of Denzel, GroundWork has scored an executive with deep experience at a “Big 4″ player, so it will be interesting to watch the impact that she has on the company over the next year.

I also think it’s interesting that open source companies are now on the radar (and under the watchful eye) of people who have long-running success in enterprise software.
