GroundWork Monitor Online System Administrator Training

This three-day instructor-led interactive course provides a comprehensive understanding of administering GroundWork Monitor so that users can support IT and data center operations. Course material includes tutorials on agents, plug-ins, traps, log message parsing and the use of proxies for agent-less monitoring and enhanced security. Attendees will understand how to design, setup, tune and manage network monitoring using Groundwork Monitor.

Prerequisites:

Prior experience in Unix or Linux permits the participant to concentrate on the core content of the training increasing their absorption of the class content, but is not required.

Having previously downloaded a version of GroundWork Monitor will help the student get more out of the class, but is not required.

Please Note:

1. A minimum of 3 attendees will be required in order to host the live online training sessions. If a class does not have the minimum number of attendees, GroundWork will notify registrants and will reschedule the online training session. Registration is requested 2 weeks prior to class and GroundWork will distribute materials for study 1 week prior to insure clients are adequately prepared for a fast paced course.
   
2. If Training Services are cancelled due to strike, fire, flood, war, governmental acts or orders or restrictions, or any other reason where failure to perform is beyond the reasonable control of GroundWork, GroundWork reserves the right to reschedule the Training Services.
   
3. All cancellations by Customer of scheduled attendance to training classes must be received by the GroundWork Support Team no later than 10 days prior to the class start date in order to reschedule to another class. Trainees who do not cancel within 10 days or do not show up for class forfeit the class fee and will not be allowed to reschedule to another class.
