- Through Executive-level dashboards, and robust business reporting, GroundWork Monitor Professional enables IT professionals and company executives to quickly confirm that their IT systems and network devices are adhering to agreed upon SLAs ("service level agreements") and OLAs ("operational level agreements:).
- Executive-level Dashboards. - Integrated Console. Views provide you with a time perspective on events. Color-coded threshold breaches and related message details let you correlate event details with the real time status screens to arrive at likely causes of issues.

- GroundWork Monitor Professional provides a sophisticated and comprehensive alarming and notification mechanism with escalation rules to alert you of breached thresholds and potential problems. GroundWork Monitor Professional provides automatic event/alarm pre-processing to reduce the incidence of derived, spurious, and false alarms while still ensuring that actual outages are reliably reported.
- Automated Management through Policy-based Alarm Event Handling
- In addition to detecting problems with hosts and their important services, GroundWork Monitor Professional allows system administrators to manage their environment by specifying what should be done as a result of an alarm event through proactive event handling.
