GroundWork Open Source is the leading open source IT monitoring alternative to the “Big 4” proprietary suites (IBM, HP, CA and BMC) quickly capturing market share in this $4.1Bn segment that is growing at a 13% rate annually. GroundWork’s strengths are derived from its community roots – the solution amalgamates over a dozen successful monitoring open source projects and packages them into one console that mid-enterprises prefer to use.
The Demand Generation Manager is an essential position at GroundWork, orchestrating the lead lifecycle, inbound and outbound marketing programs by analysis and critical thinking. This position is both creative and analytical - which rewards the manager based on results created.
The Lead Generation Manager will:
- Work with telemarketing, inside sales and product management to build lead generation and lead nurturing programs
- Work with senior marketing members to craft compelling promotional materials
- Manage an array of web 2.0 savvy marketing programs like webcasts, podcasts, syndicated sponsorship programs, telemarketing, newsletter and events
- Play a strategic role in website content design that follows consumer online marketing experiences
- Be responsible for managing, tracking, alerting and facilitating programs from start to finish
- Interact with vendors and contractors and have strong budget management skills
Preferred Experience:
GroundWork is looking for a candidate with at least 3 years in online/ web 2.0 marketing who can demonstrate and quantify results in the following main areas:
- Lead Generation marketing project management
- In-house webcast/ podcast program management
- Online media syndication program management
- Telemarketing/ ISR communication facilitation
- Event project management
- Quantitatively track and measure program effectiveness based upon CPL, CTR, and conversion ratios
- Lead Nurturing marketing project management
- Newsletter management
- Triggered/ Lead flow program design
- Online Web experience/ Lead qualification
- Identify and nurture inquiries to leads
- Online eCommerce experience and reporting
- HTML/ dynamic web user experience design
- CRM/ Marketing Automation expertise
- Familiarity with LoopFuse, Google Analytics and Salesforce.com
- Workflows, lead rating and nurturing rules
- Ad-hoc reporting and program costing analysis
Required Skill Set:
- Deep comprehension about different lead generation and nurturing programs, campaign strategies, resources & future trends.
- 3 years as a web 2.0 specialist. Experience within a software company or with open source projects desirable. Web programming background a plus
- Exceptional computer skills – Office, Excel, and basic HTML
- College degree in CS or marketing, journalism, communications, or business administration.
- Additional studies in web language programming, writing, graphics, and/or presentation techniques beneficial.
