The panel of judges included Deborah Magid of IBM, Martin Buckley of Novell, and Thomas Odenwald of SAP. The judges considered product demonstrations and looked at the contestants' target markets, disruptive innovations, marketing and sales approaches, business models, and channel strategies to make their decision.
