CHICAGO, IL (BOOTH #720)—September 1, 2009—GroundWork Open Source, Inc. (GWOS, www.gwos.com), the leader in commercial open source systems and network management software, today announced it will be previewing the newest version of GroundWork Monitor at this years combined Red Hat Summit and JBoss World in Chicago, September 1-4, 2009.

GroundWork Monitor version 6.0 is due out in mid-September. With this new release, GWOS has completely revamped the user interface, based on JBoss Portal. GroundWork Monitor 6.0 is highly extensible and offers robust API support and documentation as well as secured SOAP APIs for accessing monitoring data. The portal–based interface enables new customization and user-permission options, including page–level, feature–level, and configuration–level control.

“It is our goal to provide our customers with the best open source system, performance and network management software all bundled into a single package,” said Peter Jackson, CEO of GWOS. “At this year’s show, we are excited to share our new JBoss Portal integration and gain feedback from both the JBoss and Red Hat communities.”
